At Pioneers Media, we exist to advance church multiplication among unreached people groups through innovative and effective strategies. By God’s grace, we are bringing the hope of Jesus to those who have never heard, helping new communities of faith thrive and multiply.
We do this by focusing our ministry on four interconnected strategic areas: Digital Media, Discipleship, Coaching, and Innovation. From sharing the gospel online to equipping national believers and coaching teams in digital media, we are overcoming barriers and making Christ known where there is no church or access to the Bible.
Explore our four core strategic areas below to see how God is using these solutions to transform lives around the world:
Pioneers Media’s history is rooted in North Africa, and to this day, we maintain a strong focus on the Arab World. We develop and deliver strategic digital content specifically created for Muslims who are seeking, open, and ready to hear the truth of the gospel. This content is delivered through social media and several dedicated ministry websites.
It is now possible to display relevant digital content to a very specific audience through their phones and computers. Just as you see content relevant to you based on your previous internet searches, we can share the gospel with unreached people groups who otherwise have no way of hearing it.
This provides a life-changing opportunity for those who cannot safely or simply don’t have the opportunity to hear the gospel to seek Jesus online instead.
Seeing content online about Jesus isn’t enough to know and love him, or to live a life following him. The online digital content simply creates an opportunity for us to have a conversation with individuals wanting to know more about Jesus. We have teams of national believers who are ready and waiting to have those conversations online with anyone wanting to know more.
Once a seeker (someone seeking to know about Jesus) chooses to follow Christ, we are there to support and disciple them on their journey. For many Muslims, this decision is made at great risk and often in secret, so it is important to offer discipleship in many different ways. When possible, we will connect a new believer with someone locally where they live. Face-to-face fellowship is a wonderful way for an Arab Christian to experience and enjoy discipleship, but it is not always possible. Sometimes this is not possible because it is unsafe to meet in person due to local laws or persecution, there are no local believers where they live, or they don’t have the freedom to meet publicly with others. In these situations, we also disciple new believers online through one-to-one conversations, online discipleship programs, and online Zoom groups. This provides a safe opportunity for believers to learn more about Christianity until they can meet face-to-face with someone.
Our discipleship programs go beyond new believers, offering training for all levels of Christian maturity. We equip believers to become pastors or leaders in their local community, giving them the tools and resources to also train others. This method offers seekers the opportunity to hear the gospel where they live. By training believers to be leaders, they can, in turn, share their faith with others.
Across the Arab World and West Africa, many people groups still rely on oral learning, so we also specialize in delivering Oral Discipleship Training through memorization tailored to specific people groups. Oral learning includes rhyming, music, drama, and pictures.
Over ten years ago, we began to realise that strategic digital media was so effective in sharing the gospel among the unreached that we needed to teach others how to replicate it for their specific communities. If more people could share the gospel in this way and disciple new believers, we could accelerate church-planting efforts among the unreached. That birthed the idea of coaching.

We now coach teams of missionaries and national believers worldwide on how to apply strategic digital media methods to their existing ministry efforts. More recently, we have begun coaching church-planting networks. A network is a group of teams within an existing missionary organisation. By leveraging coaching networks, we can coach multiple teams simultaneously.
We currently coach teams in India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Turkey, Malaysia, Senegal, Kenya, Nepal, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, and many others.
While our work across the Arab World has informed our coaching, we have refined our approach, creating a clear, concise methodology that can be easily replicated across different cultures and communities. Our coaching provides a clear, step-by-step digital plan to help teams start a movement of disciples who go on to make more disciples.
The dictionary definition of innovation is: a new idea or method. But what does it mean to be innovative?
To be innovative means to introduce new ideas, methods, or products that create value, solve problems, or significantly improve existing things, requiring creativity, strategic thinking, and often collaboration to turn concepts into reality, whether through small improvements or entirely new creations. It's about seeing possibilities, challenging the status quo, and implementing change effectively.
Innovation has been at the heart of our ministry at Pioneers Media since we began in 1959. We have always looked ahead to new ideas for sharing the gospel among the unreached, seeking out the most effective methods. We embrace change, adapt to new technologies, and move forward with what is most appropriate to the cultures and societies we live in today. Having innovation at the heart of our ministry has led us from printed leaflets, radio broadcasting, and television programming to internet ministry, strategic digital media, and now coaching. Without innovation as one of our core values, we would not be where we are today.
And we won’t stop there. We will always look ahead and adapt, sharing God’s love with the unreached in the most effective ways possible. This means that, with Pioneers Media, you can be confident that we are always preparing for the future, finding new ways to connect with the unreached and make Christ known among all nations.
